Linden Farmer's Market August 4 - September 8, 2010 5-8 p.m. Fresh produce, eating area, kid's activities & more!!  The market will be located on Main Street (by the Linden Mill)   For additional information please call Southern Lakes Parks & Rec at (810) 591-0080.

If you live in the City, a yard sale permit is required.  You can obtain one at the City Offices (132 E. Broad Street).   The fee is $5.00.   The City allows (1) sale per calendar year.  The permit is good for 14 days.  If you want to have an additional sale, the permit requirements are waived during the Linden Summer Happening city-wide.  You do not need a permit during Summer Happening, June 24 - 27th. 

If you are not registered to vote and wish to do so, please stop by any Secretary of State Office or Linden City Hall. The registration deadline for the May election is 4pm on Monday, April 5, 2010.

Linden residents are required to obtain a burn permit to have a campfire or burn brush in the City. Please stop by City Hall and fill out a permit application. For an annual permit, it will cost $10. Brian Will, Linden Fire Chief, will stop by and inspect your site. If everything looks good, he will leave you with a permit. Don’t forget to check out the Fire Department’s page for information on safe burning tips!
