LINKS AND RESOURCES

The Clerk’s Department is the information center of the city, maintaining the integrity of public records including the charter, ordinances and resolutions. The responsibilities of services provided by the Clerk’s Office vary widely. Our office provides administrative and clerical support to the City Council and all other City Boards and Commissions. We prepare  agendas, records and transcribe the minutes for the Council, as well as for various other boards and commissions of the City. The Clerk's Office administers federal, state and local elections, in addition to maintaining the records of all registered voters in the City. Among its many other duties, we are responsible for the dissemination and preservation of official City records, Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) responses and issuance of certain required licenses and permits. We encourage you to make use of our resources on this site or at our service counter and look forward to providing you with friendly, efficient and effective public service.

FOIA

The filing of Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests occur through the City Clerk's Office. All FOIA requests must be submitted in writing or by e-mail. Please see our FOIA Policy and Request Form under Links and Resources.
