Road Work on E. Broad Street starting April 4, 2026

Utility Work Coming to E. Broad Street



Consumers Energy is scheduled to start working along sections of E. Broad Street beginning Monday, April 4, 2026. Sections of E. Broad Street will be reduced to one-lane traffic while workers make updates to gas service lines in the area. Motorists can expect delays in the area while work is occurring. Drivers may use Hickory Street as a detour to avoid the work zone.
